Driver Hire is the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company, operating from over 100 offices. 

We offer temporary and permanent driving jobs, non-driving work and Driver CPC training, to companies throughout the UK.

Driver Hire has been established for 30 years and our first franchise opened in 1987.  In 2016/17 - 40 franchisees achieved over £1m turnover and 60 achieved over £750K turnover.

We are full members of the British Franchise Association and three times award winners at the bfa’s prestigious ‘Franchisor of the Year’ award, and a finalist for this award ten times out of the last eleven years.

Our top franchisees are all highly self-motivated, ambitious people with a positive outlook and 'can do' attitude.  It's important to build business relationships and inspire confidence, so excellent communication skills are required.  You will manage a small team of staff, so it's important to have good people skills and be able to manage people effectively. 

We seek people who will play an active part in the franchise relationship - working closely with franchisor and fellow franchisees.  This includes, for example, attending regional meetings and taking part in sales and marketing campaigns.

Driver Hire franchisees typically have strong customer service and/or sales experience, have managed staff, and are IT literate and numerate.
