The Blazes Renewables franchise offers the potential for high earnings for a franchisee that works hard and follows the Blazes system. However, rather than set out theoretical projections of potential turnover and profit levels, we prefer to relate to actual track record, in line with best franchising practice.

As you pursue your interest in becoming a Blazes Renewables franchisee, we will make available to you in confidence, further detailed financial information based on up to date trading performance, to assist with your business plan.

Blazes has been trading for over 25 years, and franchising for over 20 years, recruiting its first franchisee in 1994. Blazes has been a member of the British Franchise Association (BFA) since 1994 when it joined as an Associate Member. Its membership status was elevated to Full Member in 1998 where it has remained ever since. Blazes Managing Director, Michael Eyre, has been an active member of the BFA throughout; from 2003 to 2007 he was the elected Chair of the BFA’s Northern Region. Since 2007, and continuing, Michael has been a member of the BFA Board of Directors.

From 2010 until 2014 Michael was the Chairman of the Board making him the longest serving Chairman in the history of the BFA. Michael is currently the BFA Board Member for International Affairs with a seat on the boards at both the European Franchise Federation and the World Franchise Council. Blazes Director of Franchising, Alan Wilkinson, has both the Diploma in Franchise Management, and is a Qualified Franchise Professional (QFP). When the BFA introduced the QFP qualification in 2011 Alan was the first person to be presented with the award, and was the only person in the UK to hold both qualifications at the same time.

Alan has 19 years experience in the franchise industry, having worked for several franchisors, and has owned 2 franchises himself. He was in fact the pilot franchisee for the Blazes Heating brand when it first launched in 2006. The combined franchise experience of Michael and Alan means that we are experienced and able to provide our franchisees with the very best of support and guidance.

A Blazes Renewables franchisee will have an interest and passion for reducing energy consumption, carbon reduction, and saving their customers significant sums on their energy bills. He or she will enjoy working from a home office with flexible working hours. Our franchisees need to be well organised and able to adapt to our systems, and be willing to take advice and act upon it.

It is widely accepted that a new start franchised business will have a much greater chance of success than a non franchised business. This doesn’t mean that there is any guarantee of success; it still takes hard work and an ability to adhere to our systems and disciplines. To build a successful Blazes Renewable business our franchisees have to be competent in a number of processes, all of which are covered in the initial training and ongoing support package.
